Dress Code

  • Boys MUST NOT WEAR tight pants, tight shirt, ‘hipster’, jeans Or jeans-style pants, double pleated pants, short pants, pants with stitched seams, light coloured pants.
  • Girls’ uniform skirts must be worn six (6′) inches above the ankle.
  • Boys must wear their pants at their waist. A regular black leather belt with a regular buckle should be worn. Decorative belts and cloth belts are unacceptable.
  • Rags and coloured handkerchiefs are not to be seen hanging from the pockets or carried around, on the shoulder, around on the neck, or tied around the face.
  • Shirts or marina worn under shirt must NOT be seen above the opening of the shirts nor blouses.
  • Girls must wear black shoes with white socks ONLY. Socks must be worn at least an inch above ankles.
  • Boys must wear black shoes with navy blue or black socks. Sneakers are not allowed and should only be worn during Physical Education sessions.
  • Each student must purchase his/her gears for PE at the school which must be worn during the Physical Education classes.
  • Haircuts must be modest and evenly cut. Patterns in the hair, HIGH top, jersey or mohawk styled, along with shaved off sections are unacceptable for school, and will not be allowed.
  • Students who may need to wear hair wraps or caps due to religious affiliation must communicate this to the school. Parents must communicate all such request to the school in writing prior to their child/ ward attending school.
  • Caps, tarns, hats are not allowed and will be confiscated if brought to school and will not be returned to student. Girls are not allowed to dye their hair, wear hair piece, extensions, beads, or hot curls.
  • Black or navy blue hair clips can be worn and should not exceed two at any time. Glitters, crystal/star like clips are not allowed.
  • “Matey bags” should not be taken to school. They are not appropriate, and cause damages to the books.
  • Bleaching of the skin and shaving of the eye brows are unacceptable for school and should not be encouraged by parents.
  • NO JEWELLERY, except a wrist watch, is allowed. Earrings are not allowed. Items worn to school which are not a part of the school uniform will be confiscated.
  • Make up including eyeliner, eye shadow, face power, lip sticks are not allowed.
  • Parents must ensure that their children do not acquire tattoos and piercing while attending school. Tattoos are NOT ALLOWED.
  • STUDENTS WHO PERSISTENTLY BREAK THE DRESS CODE AND OTHER RULES WILL BE REFERRED TO THE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE.
